Our map uses four planning horizons. Start with the mission, follow a pillar, then explore its programs and concrete work. Choose a branch to see fewer cards at a readable size.

These are Sapiens First’s planning windows, inspired by horizons of focus rather than a reproduction of David Allen’s GTD levels. They are not deadlines or expiry dates. Next actions are tracked outside Atlas.

Responsibility and authority

In Holacracy, a role’s purpose explains what it serves; accountabilities describe ongoing responsibilities. A Domain is something the role has explicit authority to control, subject to relevant policies. Being responsible for a project does not by itself grant that authority.

Atlas currently records work ownership and descriptive scope. These entries alone do not establish formal Holacracy Domains or policies. Missing definitions are gaps to resolve, not implied permission requirements.
